Special Cats Spotlight

A heartfelt plea to all you cat lovers out there. We are desperately seeking forever homes for our older residents or special cats. The last 18 months has been a tough time for many, including many of our current cats looking for homes. Many have suffered the heartbreak of losing their owners, ousted into unfamiliar surroundings without understanding why. We can’t explain to them why the owners they loved so dearly aren’t around anymore or that we are just trying to help them. They often struggle to adjust to a rescue environment after being accustomed to home life for so long. Could you create a golden oldie space in your home or open your heart to a timid or extra special cat?

This timid little lady is Cuggs, she is 12 years old and is seeking a loving retirement home.
Cuggs has every reason to feel sad, she’s been with her owner for her whole life and always known love. Sadly, circumstances change and poor Cuggs has had her world turned upside down. We are looking to place Cuggs in a calm, adult only home where she can relax and spend her days in peace and quiet. She will make a lovely companion for a lucky someone. We owe it to Cuggs and her previous owner to find her a lovely home.

Sox - this beautiful girl is 10 years old and is looking for her forever home.  She is a social lady and appreciates her home comforts.  She is seeking a quiet home ideally with no children.
If you are seeking the comfort of a calming cat presence for your household, Sox could be the girl for you!

Bella - This beautiful girl is Bella (11 years), mum to Sox.  They could be homed seperately or together.

Bella appreciates her home comforts and is looking for a quiet home, with no young children. She does have some ongoing health issues so whoever is lovely enough to offer her a home will receive the support of the rescue.

ENO - This wonderful boy is Eno, he’s been living on the streets for years, relying on the kindness of strangers to survive.
We think, and I’m sure you agree, that he deserves a warm home and family of his own. He’s spent enough time out in the cold and we are really hoping he can be in the safety of cosy home in time for Christmas.

Eno is an 8 year old friendly lad once you get to know him, which is absolutely amazing considering what he’s been through. We wish for Eno to finally know the warmth of a comfy lap and the taste of turkey this Christmas!! Please help us find that for him.

RIFF RAFF - This sad little puss is Riff Raff, named in tribute to his difficult life prior to arriving at the rescue. This poor lad has spent 3 years living on the streets and fending for himself.

He’s an independent fella but also understandably cautious. Riff Raff has paid his dues living on the streets and now deserves to know what it’s like to live in the comfort of a real home. He is FIV+ so will need to be in an only cat.

This fella would be eternally grateful to whoever offers him a safe roof over his furry head. Could you be Riff Raff’s hero?
