Volunteering takes time and depending on the type of volunteering you can do; you may be dealing with things that are hard to see, such as cats that arrive in terrible conditions or have been hurt. We understand that not everyone can give us this type of support. But there are many other ways that you can help the rescue and the work that we do, and we truly appreciate every little bit of help that you can give. Volunteer to foster
Not everyone can adopt, but the next biggest way to help us is to foster our animals.  Giving a short-term home to an animal can help those who are very stressed in the rescue or who need more TLC than we can give - some animals like kittens need to be picked up and socialised with. Garston Animal Rescue can cover some of the expenses involved in fostering an animal.

Volunteer to work in our shop (over 18s only). Aigburth Road, Liverpool.

Volunteer as a driver (over 18s only) 
We are in urgent need of people who drive to take poorly cats to the vets, pick up medication and food.  
This would be in your own vehicle and unfortunately, we can't cover the cost of fuel.

Volunteer as a fundraiser (over 18s only)
